ALSIM is pleased to announce the sale of an ALX Light Turboprop to the Morocco Aviation Private Academy (MAPA), located in Benslimane, Morocco. The device will be delivered to the academy this spring.
Mr Mohammed Fayyad Matar Khawaldeh, Morocco Aviation Private Academy’s CEO, explains why he selected ALSIM: “We had the opportunity to use an ALSIM ALX at the Royal Jordanian Air Academy, our parent company, and were very impressed by the quality of the device. We think these simulators are the best ones for a school: they handle MCC training, are well adapted to our needs, and ALSIM benefits from a great reputation worldwide. Also, our school plans to buy 2 other MCC simulators this year. Our aim is to develop the African market and we know this tool will help us in achieving this goal.”
Drawing upon over 50 years of pilot’s and ground engineer’s expertise with RJAA (Royal Jordanian Air Academy), the subsidiary company MAPA (Morocco Aviation Private Academy) will provide focused ab initio training to aspiring pilots and ground engineers across the globe. MAPA’s highly qualified flying and ground instructors will conduct EASA courses as well as Moroccan courses in accordance with national aviation authority requirements.
The academy has the resources and expertise to train up to 120 cadet pilots and 280 ground engineers annually. The aim of the school is to cover all African countries, including Morocco, by being the first ATO/EASA and EASA PART 147 school in the Africa region.
