ALSIM is very pleased to announce the sale of an AL250 simulator to Pilot School Banyuwangi, located in Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia. The school signed for an AL250, the 1st of its kind in the country. Pilot School Banyuwangi began operations towards the end of 2013 and have graduated around 90 students since then. Currently the school has around 100 students with more to come.
The EASA & FAA qualified AL250 simulator was launched in 2016 by Alsim in response to market demand. This compact FNPT II simulator addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP / MEP reconfigurable. In addition, it offers both classic and glass instrumentation at the simple flick of a switch.
Mrs Audrey Jeffroy, Alsim’s Sales Director, explains: “We are very pleased to work with Pilot School Banyuwangi and contribute to their student’s excellent training with our latest reliable device. This will increase our presence in Southeast Asia and is the beginning of a great collaboration between our two companies”.
To help realize their vision, Pilot School Banyuwangi has undertaken the following missions:
- Meet the educational facilities and training requirements of pilots in accordance with the development of science and technology
- Education and training of professional pilots, meeting international standards, increasing pilot capacity and the quality of human resources as needed
Capt. M. Mauluddin, SE., S.SiT., MM, as the head of the Pilot School Banyuwangi, expressed his high expectations to achieve the above missions using the AL250 Simulator, where the AL250 will be an excellent flight simulator to bridge students from single engine to multi engine aircraft types on the same device. Furthermore, in the long run he expects to work with Alsim to help develop the best curriculum to bridge students to jet aircraft by utilizing Alsim’s Jet Transition suite.
