ALSIM is pleased to announce the sale of a new ALX flight simulator to EATIS, a flight school in Strasbourg, northeastern France. The school has previously purchased AL50 and AL42 simulators from the same company. The new simulator will be delivered at the beginning of next year.
“ALSIM is a company we trust and their ALX simulator is the perfect fit for us. Its modularity is a great benefit, in that we can propose our various training courses using different environments: light jet or medium jet”, explained Cyril Langibout, EATIS President.
EATIS is an Approved Training Organization (ATO) located within Strasbourg Airport, France. The school proposes several types of training:
- Modular ATPL
- Modular CPL
- Integrated Training
- CB/IR
- CBIR/CPL/ATPL distance learning
- MCC
- Type Rating Beech
- FI/IRI/CRI Course
EATIS presently employs 8 instructors and trains 40 students. The school has a fleet of 6 aircraft (4 DA40 and 2 DA42) and 3 ALSIM simulators (AL50, AL42, ALX). They also have a project underway for the opening of a public transport branch towards the end of the year and they will receive delivery of a HondaJet in January 2017 as part of this.
