ALSIM is proud to announce the sale of the first Airliner in Canada to the Centre Québecois de Formation Aéronautique (CQFA) for its Montréal campus.
“We are looking forward to working together with the Alsim team for many years to come. Both the AL250 with its Engineering Pack and the Airliner with the possibility to change setup fit our needs perfectly in both training and research.”
Jean LaRoche
Director of Aeronautical Research
Centre Québécois de Formation Aéronautique
The AIRLINER is a hybrid simulator (Fly-by-wire and conventional control) manufactured by ALSIM to address large flight training programs for advanced training such as Multi Crew Cooperation, Crew Resource Management, Jet Aircraft Handling and Procedures. The versatile simulator is close to a variety of different single aisle aircraft, such as the B737MAX, A320, A220, E190-E2 or the SSJ100.
Jean LaRoche, Director of Aeronautical Research and Development at the CQFA, comments on his choice: “The CQFA has long been aware of the exceptional quality of ALSIM products. We are delighted to be able to include the Airliner in our range of services at our Montreal campus. The hybrid Airbus/Boeing configuration offers unparalleled commercial opportunities.”
Audrey Jeffroy, ALSIM Sales Director, adds: “We thank the CQFA team for their confidence in our flight training solutions and services. We are confident that the AIRLINER will play a significant role in the training of the students at the Montréal campus. We are very proud of our collaboration with the CQFA, with this major milestone: the installation of the first AIRLINER in Canada.”
About the Centre Québécois de Formation Aéronautique
The Centre Québécois de Formation Aéronautique, one of Quebec’s five national schools, has built a solid reputation in the flight training sector through the diversity of its activities.
The CQFA is among the largest public flight schools in Canada, and the only one that offers all three areas of specialization – multi-engine instrument (airline transport pilot), seaplane (bush pilot) and helicopter. It also offers the only program recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, which means that in addition to obtaining their pilot licence, students graduate with a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS).
The CQFA is also the only public school in Quebec offering training in aircraft piloting. It is the only school in North America to offer this training in French. Free tuition is one of its exclusive features.
